I'm very happy to welcome you to this space.  

I'm Doreen, and I'm based in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York state. I love, and I am inspired every day by my surroundings.  I love to travel and explore, and I love coming home to the woods. I make and grow things - I spin, felt, weave, knit, dye with plants, and make clothing. I also experiment with collage, and I consider myself an extreme gardener/micro farmer.  I am a trained, Co-Active coach and a 200-hr certified yoga instructor. 

My creative and entrepreneurial side led me to start up and run a small business as a maker, marketer and event producer. I am a seasoned professional, having worked in the corporate and non-profit worlds in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, News, Fashion and Technology.  For the last 10 years I have been steeped in Learning, Leadership Development and Coaching.  As a professional and life Coach, my approach is a wholistic one. I focus on the whole person, their values, and their well-being to help clients discover their path to a more creative, fulfilling life that is in alignment with who they are. 

I have deep respect for coaching. I  continue to navigate my own windy road with the help and guidance of gifted coaches, and I'm passionate about paying it forward. My goal is to help others create more wellbeing in their lives, get clarity, find their truth, then get out there and live it. 

Change is inevitable, burnout and overwhelm are real.  I continue to experience that prioritizing self-care, trusting uncertainty and being open to possibility are always a good idea. It is how we learn and grow as humans. We are all at choice whether we realize it or not, and sometimes, we just need to rest, play or simply, get out of our own way.
